Its not Easy being Green.
I totally disagree. I am covering a couch and 2 arm chairs in green velvet at the moment, and while I have been looking for ideas, realise how beautiful green can be. There are so many stunning shades of green, but unfortunately I don't believe that this colour is properly utilised. Very rarely do we get asked by a client to use the colour green in their interior design palette. And if you think about it, green goes with every thing, just look to nature and see how all the coloured flowers of a rainbow blend in so beautifully with the thousands of different and varied green leaves and trees.
I hope these interior design ideas change your mind about the colour green, and maybe think twice about using it in your next project.

Our favourite Designers
My favourite designers at the moment, would have to be Kathryn Ireland and Sibella Court. They have completely different interior design styles, but both love to mix vintage with new finds, and colour with everything. Kathryn Ireland is an LA based, British born designer, with a wonderful feel of old world English charm, oozing through every thing she does. Kathryn is a fabric guru, mixing textures and patterns together like a master.
Sibella was born in Australia, spent 10 years in New York, and recently returned home to Sydney, starting up The Society Inc, were you can find home wares, hardware, haberdashery, beautiful coloured interior paints, and a treasure of oddities and curiosities from around the world, add to the mix a degree in history, that helps inspires her design projects to be unique, magical and unexplained.
Both have published well known interior design books, and between them have many happy clients, living in their beautifully styled homes by Kathryn M Ireland and Sibella Court.
