In the Stunning Byron Bay Hinterland.
Alida and Miller have been busy organising "the wedding". The bride is our head stylist (and also my daughter) so, this was a big one. For the last couple of months, our main focus has been on working out exactly what Kit wanted for her special day. Her Brief: Lots of flowers, lots of sparkles and glitter, lots of rugs, throws and Moroccan style ottomans for guests to eat and lounge on, a rainbow alter to get married under, amazing tents for the party, fairy lights, fairy lights and more fairy lights, a bar to chill, a beer garden, out door fire pits and a flower wall, not just to look beautiful, but also to double as a back drop to take photos of the guests. The dress code was 70s formal, and all guests went out of their way to look simply amazing. The day before and the morning of the wedding, we were able to style the tents and out door areas. Flowers were put in place, fairy and festoon lights put up, chairs, couches, tables, rugs, ottomans and throws were strategically scattered to give a relaxed feel, and then the smaller details tendered to with great emphasis, so Kits vision could come alive. It was fantastic to see Kit and Odies dream wedding become a reality. The day ran smoothly without a hitch, the rain went away and the sun came out in time for the ceremony. The night was just as special, with great food and plenty of cocktails to keep the guests partying to the early morning.
